Info: Quilted bubinga is a beautiful and lustrous veneer. It is often used on fine cabinetry and furniture and is known for its eye-catching colour and shimmer. The red and pinkish hues in this species are quickly affected by exposure to UV light. With exposure, the pink colours often become more reddish and occasional a dark purple colour. This change in colour should not be considered a drawback. In fact, the aged colour is beautiful.
